AOB Postdoc Andrew Zahrt and BSP Daniel Tabor on Winning Teams Funded by Scialog: Automating Chemical Laboratories Initiative

Kudos to Andrew Zahrt, PhD, and Daniel Tabor, PhD, and their teams, whose proposals were selected for funding by Research Corporation for Science Advancement, the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation, and the Frederick Gardner Cottrell Foundation as part of the Scialog: Automating Chemical Laboratories initiative. Scialog supports collaborative projects pairing advances in automation and AI to key questions in fundamental research by providing $60k in research funds. The second of three annual meetings took place in Tucson, AZ and included 45 fellows who formed 21 teams to make brief proposal pitches; seven of those pitches were then selected for funding.
