BYI Kim Orth Receives Two Prestigious Awards

Congratulations to Kim Orth, PhD, (2003 BYI) awarded the 2026 ASM Award for Basic Research.
The ASM Award recognizes an outstanding scientist whose discoveries have been fundamental to advancing our understanding of the microbial world.

In addition, Dr. Orth was recognized with the Earl and Thressa Stadtman Distinguished Scientist Award: Given to a distinguished scientist for outstanding achievements in basic research in the fields encompassed by the ASBMB.
