Furqan Fazal Receives MIRA Award

Furqan Fazal, PhD (2017 AOB Postdoctoral Fellow) was awarded an R35 Maximizing Investigators' Research Award (MIRA) funding from the NIH for the work titled "Role of Cytoskeletal Motor Proteins in Subcellular RNA Localization." Dr. Fazal is an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at the Baylor College of Medicine and leads the Fazal Lab. Read more about this area of research here.
