Inside the Institutes: Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope Welcomes BHS SciOly Team

Members of Beckman High School's Science Olympiad (SciOly) Team had the opportunity to take part in a special visit to the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope in Duarte where Staff Scientist Dr. Glenn Manthey welcomed them to the facility for a full day of presentations and tour of the lab. Students found inspiration in learning about CAR T-cell research in glioblastoma* and blood cancers from researchers Hernan Reza and Kenneth Ng, and heard about CoH's summer student academy.
