Dr. Carolyn Anderson, PhD

Carolyn joined the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation as a Program Officer in 2026. Previously, she was a faculty member in the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department at Calvin University (previously Calvin College). After retiring as Professor Emerita, Carolyn served as the Principal at a small consulting firm providing professional guidance and technical writing support to researchers and organizations.
Carolyn earned her BS in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and her PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from UC Irvine. She was a Dreyfus Post-doctoral Teaching Fellow at Pomona College.
