Real-time three-dimensional thermochemistry

The study of heterogeneous catalytic reactions requires methods which can probe the state of the reacting molecules in real time. This approach enables us to extract the thermodynamics of the reaction and, in the case of biological systems, to study metabolism in vivo. In this poster we present: (1) Novel methods to probe operating catalytic reactors in real-time (operando spectroscopy).(2) New approaches to molecular imaging based on small molecule MRI contrast agents and parahydrogen-induced polarization (PHIP).
