2006 BSP Megan Culler Freeman, MD/PhD Started as Faculty at the University of Pittsburgh/ UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and Awarded an NIH NIAID K08

2006 BSP Megan Culler Freeman, MD/PhD completed clinical training (Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship) and started her first faculty job at the University of Pittsburgh/ UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Freeman was also recently awarded an NIH NIAID K08 to continue her work studying enterovirus D68, a cause of acute flaccid myelitis (AFM) in children.
