2015 BYI Yevgenia Kozorovitskiy, PhD, and Abdoulaye Ndao, received the Kavli Innovation Grant, inspired by the Sculpted Light in the Brain conference. Kozorovitskiy and Ndao work together using metamaterial design for lenses. "Their advances may make these tools and techniques available to more labs, helping to democratize science."
