Dr. Thao Tran Dominy is a 2023 Beckman Young Investigator and Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Clemson University where her team addresses fundamental challenges in materials science and condensed matter physics, with specific emphasis on quantum and multifunctional materials, nonequilibrium properties, and materials at the interface. In this “5 Questions” interview, we asked Thao to share about the BYI experience and take us deeper into her research.
