Prashant Jain, PhD Received the 2025 Craver Award for Spectroscopy Contributions

Professor Prashant K. Jain (2014 BYI), G. L. Clark Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, was selected by the Coblentz Society to receive the 2025 Craver Award for his contributions to vibrational spectroscopy. In particular, Prof. Jain was recognized for applying vibrational spectroscopy to the study of heterogeneous catalysis and photochemistry on metal nanoparticles and uncovering novel mechanisms of chemical reactions induced by light.
