Connecting Members of the Beckman Community to Provide Guidance for Career Advancement and Personal Development

Our Goals

  • Promote sense of community amongst Beckman Awardees
  • Grow professional networks
  • Provide guidance for career advancement and personal development
  • Share knowledge and experience

Who Can Participate?

  • Mentees must be a current or former Arnold & Mabel Beckman Foundation awardee.
  • Mentors can be a current or former Beckman Foundation awardee, Executive Committee member, Scientific Advisory Committee member, Institute Director, or Board member.

Expectations are Simple

  • Be respectful (and appropriate).*
  • Communicate in a timely manner.
  • Do your best to be helpful to one another.
  • We request that mentoring pairs meet (at a minimum) once a quarter for one year. Meetings can be virtual or in-person. After one year, pairs can decide if they want to continue.
