Shiv Halasyamani Named the Distinguished Karcher-Barton Awardee Lecturer from OU

The University of Oklahoma and the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry has named Prof. Shiv Halasyamani, PhD (Beckman Foundation SAC Member & 2002 BYI) the distinguished Karcher-Barton Awardee Lecturer for its 2025–2026 Frontiers in Chemical Research seminar series. Karcher-Barton lecturers are recognized as world leaders in chemical and biochemical research and technology; recent guests have included Nobel Prize winners and members of the National Academy of Sciences. Seminars are generally held on Friday afternoons and attended by a large and diverse audience of faculty, postdocs, and students.
