2017 BSP Christine Horn started Medical School at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. "Being a Beckman Scholar allowed me to realize that I want to do research in my medical career. After graduating from Colgate in 2019, I conducted clinical research at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA in the division of Endocrinology, Hypertension, and Diabetes for 2 years while I finalized my application and applied to medical school. I cannot thank the Beckman Foundation enough for its support and its role in my success thus far."
