2019 BYI Leslie Schoop Named Moore Fellow in Materials Synthesis

Congratulations to 2019 Beckman Young Investigator Leslie Schoop, PhD, named a Moore Fellow in Materials Synthesis by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Schoop is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and received a 5-year grant in the amount of $1.7 million.

The grant is "part of the foundation's Emergent Phenomena in Quantum Systems Initiative (EPiQS), which strives to deepen understanding of the organizing principles that lead to complex collective behaviors of electrons in materials and engineered structures." moore.org
