Research Summary

Although recent advances in solar and wind power are driving decarbonization of the global electricity supply, continued progress toward environmental sustainability will also require a complete redesign of the chemical industry, which remains heavily reliant on fossil fuels. This proposal is focused on designing a new generation of enzyme-like catalysts that use renewable electricity to recycle carbon dioxide emissions back into useful fuels and chemicals.

Research Title:

Enabling Enzyme-Like Cooperativity in Inorganic Electrocatalysis
